Fourth Estate Elementary
School – BF Homes is now
on its 12th year as one of the Elementary Schools of the Division of Parañaque
City. Looking back at the track that it has gone through over the years. It is
but a fact to consider that it was composed of years of struggles yet with
numerous blessings and recognizable achievements. Over the years, it has
remained true to its goal of producing learners who are analytical, decisive,
determined, and capable in aiming for higher steps in education. With the
school heads at the helm, teachers, parents, and stakeholders work closely in
developing and enhancing this skills and abilities, likewise instilling ideal
values to the learners. Guided by the DepEd Vision, Mission and Core Values,
the Project BF HOMES (Basic Foundation in Honing Outstanding Memories to
Encourage Success) was conceptualized to encourage all school age children
in the community to find enjoyment in acquiring quality basic education. The
project is focused on ensuring all learners shall be given equal opportunity to
learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating environment.
The school’s different committees are working
together to function, and valuable initiatives are created for the school
clientele. These are good signs of a community that moves the institution. The
creation of Learning Support Center (LSC) ensures the parents that the
school listens and values their feedbacks to serve them better. The school
encourages all personnel, teachers, and school leaders in the organization to
serve with humility, transparency, authenticity, and honesty.
The skillful Communication Team pivoted to
facilitate distant learning for teachers and pupils in all grade levels. With
the mandate to explore feasible instructions in this current scenario, teachers
landed on the Google for Education and certified themselves with the first
level. This prompted these certified Google Educators to launch Project
Optimized Google Instructions (POGI) which various stakeholders expressed
their support. At the time of this writing, the project has raised more than
100 smartphones as the means of instructions for the learners. The project aims
to enhance the class instructions, learning experience and even the safety of
the school administrators, teachers, and non-teaching personnel. These
activities have given confidence to the institution whose heart is dismayed
collectively by the difficulties caused by the pandemic. Years from now, these
efforts will surely produce huge impacts to the administrators, teachers,
learners, and stakeholders.
Indeed, Fourth Estate Elementary School BF
Homes has come promising these days.
